In the Shadow of the Cathedral

Despite all the building work that has taken place in Galway in the last 10 years, there are still plenty of sites in the city ripe for redevelopment - particularly along the river and mill-races that run through the city centre. The dome in the background is that of Galway Cathedral - Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and St Nicholas.

Greetings from the Great (still) White North of Canada,

I love your photographs, you have a wonderful eye for creating images that capture the attention. I also appreciate the information you give about the shots. The Sunset Tree is magnificent and the Galway Cathedral (forgive me for not using the correct name) gives a very different perspective of what I saw on my one and only trip to Ireland. Thank you for sharing your talent and art with us. Slainte!
